Character Personality: Gwen was born May 22 to pureblooded parents. She is an only child and lives in a rather spacious but not overly big house in Chelsea. Gwen loves being an only child and wants to make sure her parents keep it that way. Her family is rather rich and part of the upper class of Pureblood society. And because of that her parents always spoiled her and gave her whatever she wanted. She has turned into a selfish and spoiled girl who will do whatever she can to get her way and doesn't care what anyone thinks. Like her astrology sign states, 'Slytherin Gemini's have the dubious gift of being able to lay the blarney on thick, and be believed. This is due to both their imaginative mental agility and to their skill with words,' and that fits her to a 'T'. She is very skilled at being able to lie and tell tall tales so well that almost everyone believes them. Gwen can be sugar and spice to your face, but behind your back she is conniving and plotting against you. She can be open minded and willing to bend to a point, but only her close friends can wield that power with her. With her close friends she is rather cheerful and deadly loyal. She loves gossip and spending time with her friends. If anyone disrespected one of them the full force of Gwen will rain down upon you. Gwen is very flirtatious and likes to try to seduce people just because she is bored just to see their faces when she denies them. She loves using her looks as a weapon. She loves shagging and thinks that people who wait till marriage are bloody prudes. She has never particularly approved of muggles or muggleborns - although she usually doesn't use the word 'mudblood' simply for its lack of elegance. However, the political alliances of both her and her family are kept tightly under wraps, and as she isn't overly nice to many people. She will be friendly to most of the other former Slytherins as long as they do not do anything to annoy her. Appearance: Gwen looks ever the Pureblood lady. She has a stature of 5’7’’ and is of average to thin weight as she weighs 128 pounds.. She has grayish blue eyes and blond hair that falls just to her shoulder blades, though she does style it different colors and looks every now and again as she loves to look fashionable when possible. She has naturally full lips and an innocent looking appearance but, appearances are always deceiving. She has a clear complexion and her skin is fairly pale, but there is a slight color so she does not look like a ghost. Gwen was also graced with a fairly ample chest area that she is proud of. Gwen loves to show off and is very proud of the way she looks and makes sure to use a few makeup charms to enhance her looks. Her fashion style is whatever looks good and is in style. She has a fetish for muggle clothes and believes that is the only good thing to their name. Gwen has a high class English accent with a slight Irish drawl mixed in. She has a graceful and smooth manner of walking and moving. Though when feeling particularly cocky she does strut. mother: Her mother, Christine Rose Rivers nee. Travers, on the other hand is 43 years old. Her family has death eaters sprinkled about and she was also taught about the Pureblood teachings and how one of their social class must look down upon those of lesser standing. Her mother, unlike most Pureblooded females, does work as a famous magical fashion designer. She made sure to instill in her daughter very early what she learned and was one of the key people in molding Gwen in who she is today. Dasheill and Christine knew each other from the pureblood gatherings and formed a friendship in school despite their three year age difference. Their parents caught on to this and pushed these two together for marriage. As per the pureblood tradition, they got engaged once Christine reached her seventh year of Hogwarts and were married once she graduated. Christine had Gwen a year or two later to great fanfare by all. father: Her father, Dasheill Roger Rivers, is 46 years old. His family was quite wealthy and quite respected in the Pureblood circles. He, like his parents before him strongly supported the cause, but kept a neutral eye to the public preferring to work behind the scenes instead of on the front lines like the Lestranges. Her father owns a very successful potions shop in town and gives very generously to the Dark Lord though not marked. siblings: None other family: She is a pureblood so she is related to all the other Pureblood families somehow. Related specifically to the Travers’ family from her mothers side of the family. relationships with each: She is closer to both of her parents and she respects and looks up to both of them for different reasons. She looks up to her mum for all she has accomplished and for how to be a respectable pureblooded lady. Her father is more of the lenient parent and gives her whatever she asks for most of the time. She talks to him about almost everything and loves both of her parents even if they can annoy her at times. finances: She comes from a rich pureblood family. Their estimated total net worth is 70 million galleons and rising. So she is quite rich thank you very much! History: Gwen was born May 22, 1980 to two pureblooded parents Dasheill Roger Rivers and Christine Rose Rivers. She was raised in Chelsea, England near London but definitely in the wealthy part of town. They owned a rather spacious and luxurious home and from the minute Gwen was born she thrust right into the middle of it. Her mother works as a fashion designer for a high end wizarding clothing line while her father has his own potions shop that is doing very nicely. Her family had never been strapped for money and is quite wealthy. It is said that combined their total wealth is close to 60 million galleons. No where near the Malfoy's, but not too shabby either. Her family also taught her the importance of blood lineage and Pureblood superiority and Daphne believes all of it to this day with no question. She looks down on muggles and half-bloods, but tries to not say the word mudblood since she finds it rather uncivilized and not proper speech for a female. It would be wise to assume that her parents support the Dark Lord but, both of them are not marked, as they find themselves more able to benefit the cause without having to worry about anyone seeing the mark or suspecting them. They keep a low profile, but give VERY generously to the cause and get rewarded richly for it. Gwen only was taught to associate with those like her as is evident by who she chooses to socialize with. She is more the faithful pureblood mother like Narcissa verses the fighting on the front lines Bellatrix. But, Theodore helped nudge her into being a more active supporter and because of him she joined the Resistance Society unlike her other friends Daphne and Pansy. When she turned 11 she was sent to Hogwarts and her parents were very proud when she was sorted into Slytherin, since they both were former Slytherins as well. She couldn’t see herself being in any other house. She quickly joined Pansy’s group of friends and to this day the both of them are quite close. Pansy is like a second sister to her and out of all her friends, she is her closest. She was never one to be concerned with school work and never really put a lot of effort into it since she wanted to be a fashion designer anyways, so she would have no need for most of the things she was learning. She spent many hours just sketching in her many sketchbooks, chatting with her mates, flirting with the blokes or antagonizing anyone she saw fit. It took her until her third year to get used to Hogwarts, since she was so used to being waited on at home or living in her rather spacious and plush bedroom. She complained and sent many owls back home about the horrible food and living conditions. Gwen was a fairly spoiled girl and always had to have things her way or she would throw fits. Her third year was also spent helping Pansy taunt Hermione Granger and her friends as she couldn’t stand the lot of them. In her forth year, she was one of the many people who happily wore the ‘Potter Stinks’ badges and was rooting for Krum to win since she knew about how Durmstrang focused on the Dark Arts so much. Her fifth year was when she really started to get more serious in her fashion designing career goals. She started taunting the other students less and working more. She would spend many hours that year by the lake or the Slytherin Common room sketching and sewing away. Gwen was very happy for her best mate Pansy when she got awarded the Prefect position. She was even more proud when she got appointed to be in the Inquisitorial Squad. Gwen always had a smug look on her face they year and took great pleasure in seeing everyone grumble about how awful Umbridge was. She was rather disappointed when she was not able to return at the end of the year. The sixth year brought the death of Dumbledore. She was very happy when she heard what happened. She never really liked the man and in her mind it was about time he died anyways. There was never a question as to where her loyalties lay, though she really was not one who wanted to get marked. She would help in her own way from the outside, just like her parents had done. Her parents reluctantly let her return in her seventh and last year. But, not after many hours of temper tantrums and arguing with her parents. During her seventh year she started to get more and more interested in this newly formed Resistance society. It took her until the end of her seventh year before she finally agreed to join. Once graduating she got a job as the Minister Spokesperson thanks to her being in the Resistance Society. Gwen still works on her designs as well as that was her first love and passion. Gwen moved out of London and to Oxford, England a few months after she graduated since muggle and wizarding London was in such ruin. She is one of the few females in the Resistance Society and wants to prove to herself and to everyone else that she is mentally and physically stronger than anyone takes her for. Gwen loves the many privileges she gets to experience now and tries her hardest to make sure the Purebloods survive and continue to rule. History from Dissevered V.1: Gwen has grown to love her job as Ministry Spokesperson. Ever since the Ministry raid and helping Bellatrix torture and kill the past Minister, she had gained a burning desire to join the Death Eaters. She loved the feeling she got and has been giving it more and more thought. Gwen started flirting with and casually dating unnamed Slytherin boy. Daphne found out and got rather upset since she had feelings for him for years now. Because of this she does not get along with Daphne and she was on shaky ground with Tracey and Pansy. Gwen got annoyed with some of unnamed Slytherin boys actions so she stopped seeing him. Gwen found out that her best mate Gabe had to get married and she did not approve of the woman he was thinking of marrying so she suggested that she would marry him instead.
